Aleksandras Stulginskis University was first established in 1924 as “the Agricultural Academy” in Dotnuva, Lithuania. The university received its present name in June 2011.
Aleksandras Stulginskis University is a state founded institution that is providing higher education for Lithuanian and international students. Aleksandras Stulginskis University has a permanent aim to improve its activities and methods according to the expectations of society needs. Currently, the institution offers diverse study programs in biomedicine, technology and social science departments to its over 5000 students.
Aleksandras Stulginskis University is the only governmental higher educational institution in Lithuania which is able to award the diplomas in bachelor, master and doctoral level in agriculture, food sciences, water, land resources management, bioenergy, sustainable use of natural resources, climate change and forestry. These programs are accredited and recognized in all around the world and thought in highest educational standards.
The university offers wide range of activities for students to improve and achieve either personal or professional skills or targets. These activities are diverse in the studies and researches, different projects, developing personal creativities with participation in art and sport collectives, student exchange, and practical experience in university autonomy to develop managerial skills.
